Tom Hardy To Play An Outlaw Biker For Untitled WB FIlm

ShowBlitz reports the first spoils of Tom Hardy's recent first look deal with Warner Bros. He has signed on to an untitled biker thriller setup at the studio from screenwriter Mark L. Smith (Vacancy). Hardy will play a wounded Vietnam veteran who returns home to San Francisco at the height of unrest of 1969. Amid clashing cultures of the Haight Ashbury district, he emerges to become the leader of California’s most violent outlaw biker club.

Hardy is going to have one hell of a year with The Dark Knight Rises in July and the awards-bound Wettest County/Lawless set for a fall release. He's also expected to lead the Mad Max reboot Fury Road which had been set to shoot this summer.
