The young actor is best known for his role in 3:10 To Yuma, also more recently starring in Meet Bill, Gamer and the upcoming Percy Jackson. Lerman talked to Access Hollywood about talking with the studio for the lead role in the Spider-Man reboot. It doesn't sound solid yet but I'm sure there will be more interest in him, now that people know he's a possibility. I think he's a far better choice than Zac Efron or the other young names that have been mentioned previously.
“It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course...I’d love to focus on the human element a little bit more. It’d be such a fun experience.”
