The Weinstein Company/Dimension is remaking John Landis' classic horror comedy. While a majority of people are upset, this could end up an entertaining update. The original film centered on two American students who are backpacking through Europe. During a trip through a small village they are attacked on the moors during a full moon. One is brutally torn apart and killed. The other survives only to transform into a blood thirsty werewolf.
While this a horror film it had a lot of comedy elements. Two directors who I think that could do the film justice would be Edgar Wright (Shaun of The Dead) or Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland).
