Eli Roth best known for the Hostel films will be leaving the torture porn genre. So that he can make a studio friendly PG-13 science fiction/monster movie. He revealed some information on the upcoming science fiction project. The film entitled Endangered Species described by Roth as a mix between Cloverfield and Transformers. Although Endangered will be more science fiction based. Cloverfield being the modest of the two with a relatively small budget of 25million. Roth is looking to set the film's budget at around 60million. The rather large budget is to insure as much destruction as possible in the film.
